About Me:
I never know what to write on these things. I'd rather just answer questions but here it goes... I'm Ben. I was born and mostly raised in Utah. I have lived in Baltimore, Phoenix, San Diego, and Sacramento, but I keep coming back to the SLC area. Utah is awesome! In just a few hours you can be hiking in alpine mountains, floating down a river in a rubber duck, rock crawling over sand stone rocks, or camping in a desert. I love exploring Utah. Following the trails of the Pony Express and the Hole in Rock pioneers. Exploring the shores of The Great Salt Lake and finding remnants of a forgotten fishing industry. Summiting a mountain peak in the middle of a snow storm.
My profession is in the computer world. I've held such titles of "Corporate Trainer", "Director of Customer Service", "Systems Administrator", and "IT Manager". Regardless of what my official title has been, I’ve always been the "IT Guy", responsible for all the desktops, laptops, printer, servers, networks, and such. Some call me a geek, but the last thing I want to do when I'm done with work is touch a computer. I'd rather be in the outdoors far far away from technology. I don't have internet at home. I was given an old laptop about 6 months ago and I haven't even taken it out of the case.
I guess that's enough about me for now. If you want to know more about me, just ask. I'm not shy and I’ll answer almost any question.
